NHP releases the NorthStar Series line of geothermal heat pumps.
Shortly after Electro Industries purchased NHP, the companies quickly began working on a new line of geothermal heat pumps. This new line, called the North Star Series has incorporated a number of improvements over the previous generation, the Xterra Series.

Electro Industries purchases Northern Heat Pump.
We are excited to announce that NHP has been purchased by Electro Industries, www.electromn.com. This acquisition has enabled NHP to not only continue building geothermal heat pumps; it has enabled NHP to draw upon the sound technical knowledge and support resources that Electro Industries is known for in the HVAC industry. Teaming up with Electro Industries will ensure that NHP continues to remain at the forefront of geothermal technology.
Manufacturing will continue in Winkler MB, just as it has in the past, serving the Canadian market. In addition to the Winkler plant, manufacturing has been extended into the US at Electro Industries Monticello, MN location. Manufacturing at the Monticello location is servicing the US market.
